SCARY SEASON
Right now is an awkward time of the year. (or, at least, that's how I feel.) Just before Halloween, which is just before Christmas. The end of the year always makes me impatient, there's so many events and holidays and it just takes so long to get to! It's even worse when your birthday is somewhere in that time frame. But once it gets to that part of the year, it feels like it only lasts a week before the world around you seems normal again... suppose "time flies when you're having fun" is true.
I don't really do much for Halloween, and I doubt I will this year, but it's a great time to watch horror or halloween themed movies and wrap up in several layers of blankets. (I'll probably just hide in my cave and binge Spooky Month or something.) But if you're somebody like me who hates talking to people, Halloween night is hell. Why would I want people constantly knocking on my door when i'm lying in? Although lately, I haven't really been seeing a lot of kids trick-or-treating on Halloween and I have no clue if it's just my town or if there's no trick-or-treaters anymore. Where the hell are they?? I was complaining about people knocking on my door, but even if they do, at least they're having fun walking around the neighbourhood, you know? CAN WE HAVE FUN, PLEASE?
It's good to just slow down when Halloween, Bonfire night, Christmas and all that come around and spend time with people you're required to see all the time because they're your family or whatever. TALKING TO PEOPLE EEEWWWW is actually not as horrible as I think... its good to sit and have a laugh. Actually spending time with people can lead to a lot of funny stories, as well. I remember when I went walking around the neighbourhood with a few people in my family to see everyone's Christmas lights, except it was a miserable wet midnight and my little brother got distracted, slipped on the path, did a rolly poly on the pavement and broke his nose... we freaked out in the moment, but we laugh our heads off bringing it up again in conversations.
I don't really know how to write a conclusion to this, so I'll just end it abruptly here.
Happy Halloween and have a nice day, reader! ☆
